Any thoughts or ideas? Am I just plain crazy?
Andrew- from what I just witnessed, your essentially saying that there is hope for the hackers like myself!
That’s the great thing about it Joe – there is hope for all of us! BTW you’re no hacker!
Wish it was all as simple as it seems. Given we all have different swings, how do we consistently get to that swing position when it counts?
That is the $1million question Graham. The answer is education (you must understand what causes the ball to do what it does and have a good understanding of what your tendencies are) and then invest quality time into practicing the corrections. My job is to help you with the education and then provide guidance as to the drills and practice routines you need to work towards to get it to function when it counts.
It may seem simple (and to a certain degree it is), but it takes a fair deal of work in order for it to become simple.
Thanks for all the useful information. I’ve struggled for years with proper weight transfer, always coming up short in getting weight to move forward properly at impact. Whatever I tried consciously just got me out of sync. After watching your videos and reading your book, I tried just making certain that my hands were always ahead of the ball at impact on iron shots and I found that it’s impossible to NOT have your weight on the forward foot at impact when that happens. Interestingly, I’ve taken seemingly a million lessons and not one instructor ever mentioned that as a tool to shift weight.
It really does work doesn’t it Tom! I’m glad it has helped you find something to improve your game.
Thanks for the commentary.
